Rosie is a dedicated and passionate teacher offering expert singing and voice tuition. With advanced knowledge and understanding of vocal anatomy and physiology she has committed herself to a constant regime of professional development and education to ensure her knowledge and techniques are current and in line with accepted vocal health practises.

 

A talented and creative educator with a natural ability to connect and communicate, Rosie can make complex vocal concepts easily understandable and digestible. This has enabled her to develop a strong reputation for getting results. She also specialises in cross-training and diversifying vocalists across different vocal styles, all built on a foundation of healthy voicing and sustainable techniques.

 

Drawing from an extensive performance background in opera, music theatre, contemporary, cabaret and dramatic arts, Rosie has experienced first hand the demands of these industries. She strongly believes in empowering and equipping singers with a personal vocal toolkit based on knowledge, a sound technique and strong problem-solving skills enabling them to sustain a long and successful professional career in the industry.

Rosie is proud to be a Certified Estill Master Trainer with Estill Voice International. She also attained her Certificate of Figure Proficiency in 2015. She has worked alongside her mentor and Certified Course Instructor Naomi Eyers as course assistant on Level 1 and Level 2 courses and regularly attends Estill Voice Training workshops presented by national and international course instructors.

Vocal health lies at the foundation of Rosie’s teaching and in 2020 she was delighted to attain her certification as a Vocal Health First Aider with Vocal Health Education, UK. She has developed a network with voice care specialists including, speech pathologists, ENTs, manual therapists and psychotherapists to ensure she can offer clients holistic and professional care at all times.

Rosie's client base includes professional performers and singers from cabaret, musical theatre, opera, popular contemporary, jazz, barbershop and more. She also works with professional voice users such as actors, school teachers and public speakers assisting them with their vocal health, stamina and efficiency. She currently lectures in Vocal Anatomy & Physiology and offers one-to-one singing tuition to students studying a Bachelor of Musical Theatre at The University of Adelaide. She also regularly works as a Vocal Coach/Musical Director for well-know Adelaide youth theatre company, Pelican Productions, corporate entertainment company Ding and at TAFE SA. Previous experience has included lecturing in music and singing at TAFE SA as part of their Advanced Diploma in Acting and at Tabor College Adelaide.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. This means that you must give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your lesson for any reason; otherwise, you are responsible for paying for the lesson in full.

  • Book a PRIVATE SESSION at her vocal studio in Torrensville, Adelaide. Please note Rosie's private lessons are in high demand, therefore are subject to availability. To request a private session please complete the New Student Application Form.

  • Invite Rosie to present one of her popular VOCAL WORKSHOPS to your choir, cast, students, colleagues.

  • Speak to Rosie about her CONSULTING services - she can work alongside your musical, theatrical or choral director and help you to get the most out of your cast/singers.
